KILKENNY STAR HENRY Shefflin will shortly discover the extent of a recent injury he picked up in Ballyhale Shamrocks’ game against Oulart-the-Ballagh at the weekend, as he is set to have a series of tests on his ankle.
According to reports, there is a possibility of ligament damage, though Shefflin will have to wait for the swelling to go down before scans are conducted.
A recent x-ray has already alleviated fears that the star had broken a bone in his ankle.
Shefflin’s side suffered following the withdrawal of the 11-time All Star in the first-half, ultimately losing 1-11 to 1-10.
