IT IS NOT every day when a member of the Boston Red Sox flings himself head-long towards you to make a stunning catch.
That is exactly what happened in Boston’s 2-1 victory of the Detroit Tigers at Fenway Park on Wednesday. The overjoyed Sox supporter was flailing his arms so much, after Shane Victorino’s catch, that he knocked the phone out of a female fan’s hand.
Victorino bent down to retrieve and return the phone, sparking more delight, carnage and a beer-soaking for this poor lady:
