They are bringing the Carlow lads all the way up to newry , that’s a bit rich, working on the assumption that they are happy enough to be there and won’t complain. Come on now Rangers stand up and say not a chance, loads of venues fair to both teams available . Big mistake to play them boys up there.

Loughgiel play Mount Leinster Rangers, Carlow to Newry is just over two hours and Loughgiel to Newry is just over two hours, cant be fairer than that. Confirmed it on the aa routeplanner

Antrim had to travel to Semple Stadium to play Clare U21′s in the hurling final. That’s the price of success lads get on with it. Well thats what the Antrim players and fans were told. Doesn’t bother me I’m a Limerick man.

135 km or1hr 39min from Loughguile to Pairc Esker and 224 km from Borris or 2hrs 20 min to the same venue according to Google earth. Dunno what roads the AA are using!

Wouldn’t be distracted by the venue – the greatest day we had was beating Knockmore on their own pitch! Magic.

Parnell Park would have been fairer for MLR.

Parnell Park is a lot nearer to Carlow than Antrim. You could argue for it to be played in Navan or Breffni Park.
