Baseball fan pays tribute to favourite player with 'back hair jersey'

God bless these United States.

THREE YEARS AFTER coming to the baseball world’s attention for a back-hair-trimming tribute to Joe Mauer, a Minnesota Twins fan is back.

Dubbed ‘Mr Sasquatch’ by Yahoo Sports, the loyal Twins fan was back at Target Field over the weekend with a new, hairy ode. He shaved out sections of his follicly robust back hair to make a decent fist of a Brian Dozier No.3 Twins jersey [something @MLBFanCave were quick to pick up on].

The gesture obviously had a resounding effect on Dozier as the infielder smacked a solo home run in the Twins’ 9-3 win over the Colorado Rockies.
