19.47 – The 7.45pm kick-offs are now underway – only the games involving the two Manchester clubs are beginning at 8pm.

19.50 – Arsenal have already gone a goal up.

Theo Walcott, who has been in good form lately, has given them the lead after a neat finish against Everton, with an assist from Aaron Ramsey.

19.52GOAL FOR TOTTENHAM!

19.56 – Brilliant solo run from Bale, who bests Downing easily, before crossing to Lennon, who has an easy tap in (7 mins).

The goal is more than Tottenham deserve, with Bale looking especially lively so far.

19.57GOAL FOR SWANSEA!

19.59 – Bit of a surprise at the Liberty Stadium, as Swansea lead third place West Brom 2-0.

Michu and Routledge are the scorers.

20.01GOAL FOR TOTTENHAM!

20.02GOAL FOR MAN UNITED!

20.05 – A Bale free-kick from about 30 yards out gets a slight deflection off the Liverpool wall, outfoxing Reina and finding the back of the net in the process.

The Welshman has been a class apart so far.

Meanwhile, United lead Wet Ham thanks to yet another Robin van Persie goal.

20.06

20.09

20.12 – Here’s that Van Persie goal – and it was more than a little fortuitous, as you’ll see.

20.14 – It’s an exciting game at White Hart Lane, with both sides looking a tad suspect at the back.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale continues to look the best player on the field.

20.15GOAL FOR EVERTON!

20.17Fellaini has equalised for Everton, with some weak Arsenal defending to blame (28 mins).

So much for Steve Bould making a dramatic impact.

20.20 – As Liverpool belatedly start to come into this game with Tottenham sitting on their lead, here’s a look at the game’s opening goal.

20.21GOAL FOR SOUTHAMPTON!

20.24Lambert has pounced following a goal-mouth scramble, as the Saints look to push on from their fine result at the weekend.

In addition, Walker has just cleared off the line for Tottenham from a Suarez effort – Spurs are really living on the edge right now.

20.26GOAL FOR SWANSEA!

20.28Routledge has scored again to put Swansea in dreamland (39 mins).

Are West Brom beginning to believe their own hype?

20.31 – Like buses, eh?

20.32HALF-TIME: SPURS 2-0 LIVERPOOL

20.34GOAL FOR NORWICH!

20.36 – A Robert Snodgrass effort has somehow squeezed under the body of Gazzaniga to make it 1-1.

Meanwhile, Lukaku has got a goal back for West Brom against Swansea.

20.39 – Here are your half-time scores in full (keep in mind that the games involving the Manchester sides kicked off at 8pm).

Chelsea 0-0 Fulham

Everton 1-1 Arsenal

Southampton 1-1 Norwich

Stoke 0-0 Newcastle

Swansea 3-1 West Brom

Tottenham 2-0 Liverpool

20.42 – Wigan have looked very solid tonight from what I’ve seen of the game, with City chances few and far between.

About five minutes until half-time at the DW Stadium.

20.43 – Here’s a look at that relatively fortunate Gareth Bale free-kick goal.

20.47

20.49HALF-TIME: WIGAN 0-0 MAN CITY

With virtually the last kick of the half, Man City get their first shot on target in the game.

20.51HALF-TIME: MAN UNITED 1-0 WEST HAM

Meanwhile, the 7.45 kick-offs are back underway.

20.53 – A word from Kammy…

20.55GOAL FOR NEWCASTLE!

20.58Papiss Cisse has given the Magpies the advantage, following a howler from Stoke goalkeeper Begovic (47 mins).

Meanwhile, Liverpool are continuing where they left off towards the end of the first half, and look the better team at the moment.

21.00

21.04 – Every time Sterling makes a mistake, it’s an example of ‘the young man learning the game,’ it seems, according to Trevor Francis.

Sterling’s flaws aside though, Liverpool continue to dominate a sluggish-looking Tottenham side, but lack a killer instinct in the final third.

21.10

21.13SUBSTITUTIONS: Sigurdsson on for Dempsey, Shelvey replaces Henderson.

Meanwhile, Balotelli misses a golden opportunity for City, with his header only finding the side-netting – you suspect a more confident striker would have at least hit the target there.

21.15 – Here’s what Fellaini’s earlier goal for Everton looked like:

21.16GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL!

21.19 – Lennon attempts to clear a Gerrard header from a corner off the line, but his clearance deflects off Bale rather comically and goes into the net (71 mins).

‘That’s definitely an own goal,’ says a commentator whose name is definitely Trevor Francis.

Liverpool’s performance deserved that bit of luck.

21.22

21.25 – Suarez has just blazed over from close range.

Only one team has shown up in this second half, and Liverpool deserve to be level at least based on how it’s panned out.

21.28GOAL FOR STOKE!

GOAL FOR MAN CITY!

21.31 – A fantastic strike from the enigmatic Mario Balotelli has given City the lead (69 mins).

And Ireland’s Jon Walters has equalised for Stoke (84 mins).

21.34 – A stunning edge-of-the-box strike from Milner has effectively won it for City (72 mins).

Meanwhile, Jerome has turned it around for Stoke, as they now lead Newcastle 2-1 (86 mins).

21.36

You can check out Gareth Bale’s hilarious own goal here.

21.38FULL-TIME: TOTTENHAM 2-1 LIVERPOOL

21.41More full-times:

Everton 1-1 Arsenal

Southampton 1-1 Norwich

Stoke 2-1 Newcastle

Swansea 3-1 West Brom

Chelsea 0-0 Fulham

21.44

21.47 – Good news for United fans, as Phil Jones returns to action. Fergie’s side still hold a tenuous 1-0 lead over West Ham.

About five minutes left in tonight’s two remaining matches.

21.51 – Here are City’s two goals:

Gareth Barry has been named Man of the Match by Niall Quinn.

21.52FULL-TIME: WIGAN 0-2 MAN CITY

21.54FULL-TIME: MAN UNITED 1-0 WEST HAM

21.57 – Sky have just asked a provocative question, in light of Mancini’s side going 20 Premier League games unbeaten:

‘Are City the new invincibles?’

22.00 – Troubling times for both these clubs…

22.05 – So here’s how the table now looks according to the official Premier League site.

22.07 – Right, that’s it for me.
