Kobe Bryant made his comeback to the court to Star Wars' Imperial March

The Lakers talisman channelled his inner Vader.

NEARLY EIGHT MONTHS after Kobe Bryant limped off the Lakers’ home court with a torn Achilles tendon and a career in doubt, he struggled to keep his composure when he finally stepped back onto the same hardwood.

And though his comeback night didn’t quite go to script — the Raptors running out 106 to 94 winners — Bryant admitted he was just glad to be back.

What is it with basketball and overly theatric high fives. I’ve seen it in basketball here at all age levels and it gets on my nerves.

Now…I must go and find something else irrelevant to have a moan about.
