THIS WHOLE Gary Neville/David De Gea things keeps on giving.
Today, the Sky Sports pundit today rejected claims he was asked to “nail” Manchester United ‘keeper, David de Gea, in the wake of the draw with Spurs on Sunday.
After the United keeper conceded a late equaliser at White Hart Lane, Neville had plenty to say about the Spaniard’s performance. Here’s the video:

This morning however, former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys suggested that Neville had been asked to highlight De Gea’s perceived flaws. He didn’t actually say by whom.
“I think he was sent out with an agenda.” said Keys on his TalkSport radio show. “I don’t think Gary would have done that had he not been told: ‘Listen, finger him’. I don’t think you can nail a goalkeeper in that way can you?”
Neville however responded on Twitter when his attention was brought to the ‘interesting’ observation from Keys.
“This is not interestin,g it’s wrong,” wrote the Old Trafford legend. “I never have and never will take instructions off anybody to say anything!”
