‘He had a long memory’.

MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGER Alex Ferguson told this story about his late friend Sean Fallon, who was laid to rest in Glasgow today.

The former Ireland international — who died last week at 90 — was a Celtic legend, after a long association with the club as both player and coach. And he sounded like a tough customer on the pitch, if Fergie’s eulogy is to be believed:
