THIS WHOLE Gary Neville/David De Gea things keeps on giving.
Today, the Sky Sports pundit today rejected claims he was asked to โnailโ Manchester United โkeeper, David de Gea, in the wake of the draw with Spurs on Sunday.
After the United keeper conceded a late equaliser at White Hart Lane, Neville had plenty to say about the Spaniardโs performance. Hereโs the video:

This morning however, former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys suggested that Neville had been asked to highlight De Geaโs perceived flaws. He didnโt actually say by whom.
โI think he was sent out with an agenda.โ said Keys on his TalkSport radio show. โI donโt think Gary would have done that had he not been told: โListen, finger himโ. I donโt think you can nail a goalkeeper in that way can you?โ
Neville however responded on Twitter when his attention was brought to the โinterestingโ observation from Keys.
โThis is not interestin,g itโs wrong,โ wrote the Old Trafford legend. โI never have and never will take instructions off anybody to say anything!โ
Neville โ an coach with the England international set-up has since deleted the update.
So, did he finger him, nail him, or just get the shift in the end ?
As Richard keys would say โdid you smash itโ?
its the sky way or the highway. i would love to see gillette soccer saturday with dunphy giles brady whelan and sadlier/houghtonโฆ.That i would pay for.
Keys should just keep his trap shut, smutty little man. โSo Jamie did you tap that?โ Foolish man.
