Cesc Fabregas could be on his way to Man United: After David Moyes’ side missed out on Thiago, they have apparently earmarked the Barcelona man as a potential alternative.

Liverpool want Xherdan Shaqiri: The 21-year-old winger could continue to find first-team football hard to come by, given the multitude of talent at Bayern Munich currently. Hence, he is now being linked with a move to Anfield.

Arsenal test the water with Suarez offer: The Gunners have reportedly made a £35million bid for the Liverpool star, who recently suggested he was open to offers from other clubs.

Branislav Ivanovic may leave Chelsea: Paris St-Germain are rumoured to be preparing an £8m bid for the highly rated centre-back.

Tottenham bid for Benteke: The North London club, however, are reportedly reluctant to pay the £25million asking price, and will attempt to persuade Villa to lower their valuation.

Newcastle prepare to move for Darren Bent: Joe Kinnear could be about to instigate the club’s first major signing of the summer, as he prepares to meet Alan Pardew to discuss a £5million move for the Villa man.

Irish deal of the day:

We already brought you news of one Irish defender moving club today, and Richard Dunne is another player who is now being strongly being linked with a move – specifically to Harry Redknapp’s QPR, with the club’s chief executive Phil Beard confirming: “He’s not signed yet but he’s a player that Harry would like to bring to the club.”

Arsenal have a £25million buy back clause in his contract. If he was ever going to go back to the premier league it would only be to arsenal. He’l stay at Barca and fight for his place anyway.

This is a joke bid… just to keep us United fans happy. Thiago would’ve been a great buy as a long term prospect for the midfield. This is a gesture bc they f’d that up.
