Zlatan: I don't need the Ballon d'Or to prove that I'm better than Messi

Ibrahimovic in arrogant self-appraisal shocker.

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC ISN’T worried by the fact that he hasn’t been nominated alongside the world’s biggest stars for the FIFA Ballon d’Or.

He doesn’t need the Ballon d’Or. If anything, the Ballon d’Or needs him.

The Barcelona duo of Lionel Messi and Xavi are joined by Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo on the three-man shortlist for the prize which was announced yesterday.

But speaking to Telefoot, Zlatan — the most self-confident man in football, except for Nicklas Bendtner — said that he’s not that concerned by the snub.

In my head I am the strongest of all. I certainly don’t need the Ballon d’Or to prove that I am number one.

What a guy.
