YouTube Top 10: because everybody loves an end-to-end game

Another Batman trailer doctored, tight semi-finals, revelling in a Major win and a bucket-load of goals.

10. Like Bruce Wayne, Derrick Rose is just one man. An ordinary man in many ways. But he has (money and) a mission to make Chicago a better place to live, not by ridding it’s streets of crime, but by slamming dunks. Either that or any excuse to put that ludicrously good Dark Knight Rises trailer over new footage.
P.S. We love the casting of LeBron as Bane. LeBane, if you will.

9. It’s been somewhat overshadowed by last night’s news that Bartolo Colon had testosterone pouring out of his… syringe, but 24 hours previous the Oakland A’s were at their best. A first treble play in 12 years and we enjoy it more and more every time.

8. Just so we’re all clear: Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather has quite a lot of money. Much more than you, you, me, him, you and even you – yes, you – put together.

Everyone understand? Okay, can we move on now Floyd?

What do you mean, ‘no, I’m gonna count it out for the world to see’?

7. We do love a good dipping swerving left foot strike. Here’s Middlesbrough’s Adam Reach.

6. Cork and Donegal lock horns in what is sure to be a Titanic tussle in Croke Park this Sunday. They’ve met in quarter-finals in recent years, but we get the feeling this 2006 edition will have more similarities than Cork’s procession in 2009.

5. Judging by the giddy grin on Gaz, we can only assume that his younger brother is normally greeted with much coarser language. But, since he’s ‘ont tele’ he’ll address our kid by his full and proper title. Philip John underrated-midfield-maestro Nevile.

4. Today, for the first time on the PGA tour, Rory McIlroy has been paired with Tiger Woods. All eyes will be on the pairing at Bethpage black to see if Tiger Woods can cope with the pressure of playing with the dominant force in golf. After all, doesn’t Rory McIlroy like own the PGA or something now?

3. Novak Djokovic v Rafael Nadal was perhaps the most compelling one-on-one rivalry in world sport last year. The 2011 US Open was only one of a string of title bouts the pair endured with on another.

More recently Serb has fallen off his incredible form and injury has forced the Spaniard to pull out of next week’s tournament at Flushing Meadows altogether. So it’s another huge chance for Roger Federer and Andy Murray to increase/begin their Grand Slam tally.

2. Maybe it’s ADDHD or something, but Mario Balotelli just can’t help himself. Despite being in the middle of his highly-pressurised working day, he still finds time for hi-jinks with the club photographer.

Poor old Howard Webb didn’t know what to do and just plodded onwards to the officials dressing room.

1. We had one of the games of the Premier League season last night. Champions of England (cough, second tier, cough) and the Champions of Europe. There was controversy, sublime skill, kamikaze defending, goalkeeping/officiating howlers and three goals in each half. All it was missing was a live broadcast for the league’s primary market in Britain and Ireland. Last night we brought you all the action as it unfolded, now you can see for yourself.
