You'll occasionally walk alone? Single Udinese fan makes trip to Sampdoria

We knew crowd numbers in Serie A weren’t great, but this takes the biscuit.

HERE’S A SIGHT from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris tonight, where just one Udinese fan made the 380km trip for their meeting with Sampdoria.

The sole supporter received a cheer from the home crowd before the game and was rewarded for his loyalty as his team won 2-0 thanks to goals from Danilo and Antonio Di Natale.

    been to cork city games with small numbers but never on my own. tralee away in the league cup a few years ago had five away fan’s or Portadown away on a Tuesday night with 14 away fans.
