PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES on the other side of the world aren’t for everyone — Luis Suarez didn’t seem too happy, for one — but the fans who shelled out to see Liverpool in Melbourne today did their best to make it a bit special.
The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground was packed out to its 95,000 capacity as the Reds beat Melbourne Victory 2-0.
The fans channeled the famous Kop atmosphere before kick-off, raising the roof with what will surely go down as one of the best versions of You’ll Never Walk Alone heard outside of Anfield.
