ST PATRICK’S ATHLETIC will have a chance for revenge when they make the trip north to face Cliftonville in the first round of the 2012 Setanta Sports Cup.

The sides were paired together again this afternoon as the draw produced a rematch of last season’s first round meeting, which Cliftonville won 3-2 on aggregate.

Lisburn Distillery face Derry City, Bray Wanderers meet Glentoran, and Portadown play Bohemians in the other first round games.

The first legs, which mark the beginning of the competitive season for the four Airtricity League teams, will be played on Monday 13 February. The return fixtures take place a week later on Monday 20 February.

Cup holders Shamrock Rovers, Sligo Rovers and the Irish League pair of Linfield and Crusaders will all enter the competition at the quarter-final stage, where they will be joined by the four winners from the first round.
