Which World Cup games are they showing on TV this week?

Short answer: all of them, if you know where to look.

TODAY MARKS THE start of the last round of World Cup group games, with all four teams in each group kicking off at the same time to prevent any nefarious scheming.

But what happens if — in true hipster fashion — you want to watch Spain v Australia while the TV bosses have decided to show Netherlands v Chile (a game featuring teams that are actually still in the tournament)?

Where there’s a will there’s a way. RTÉ will double down on their coverage by screening one game live on TV and the other online on RTE.ie, while ITV will show the “second-choice” game on ITV 4 and BBC will do likewise on BBC 3.

Here’s a list of the last round of games and where you can find them (subject to change, of course):

MONDAY

 Group B (5pm)

  • Netherlands v Chile – RTÉ 2,  ITV
  • Australia v Spain – RTE.ie, ITV 4

Group A (9pm)

  • Cameroon v Brazil – RTÉ 2, ITV
  • Croatia v Mexico - RTE.ie, ITV 4

TUESDAY

Group D (5pm)

  • Italy v Uruguay – RTÉ 2, ITV 4
  • Costa Rica v England – RTE.ie, ITV

Group C (9pm)

  • Japan v Colombia – RTÉ 2, BBC 3 
  • Greece v Ivory Coast – RTE.ie, BBC 1

WEDNESDAY

Group F (5pm)

  • Nigeria v Argentina – RTÉ 2, ITV
  • Bosnia Herzegovina v Iran – RTE.ie, ITV 4

Group E (9pm)

  • Ecuador v France – RTÉ Two, BBC 1
  • Honduras v Switzerland – RTE.ie, BBC 3

THURSDAY

Group G (5pm)

  • USA v Germany – RTÉ Two, BBC 1
  • Portugal v Ghana – RTE.ie

Group H (9pm)

  • Algeria v Russia – RTÉ Two, ITV 4
  • South Korea v Belgium – RTE.ie, ITV
