ARSENAL MIDFIELDER JACK Wilshere has promised to donate £3,000 to charity if his team finishes below Tottenham in this year’s FA Premier League.

Spurs are currently three points better off than their North London rivals with a game in hand, although Arsene Wenger’s side have shown vastly improved form recently with five wins in a row.

“All Spurs fans are buzzing they are ahead of us in the league,” Wilshere said on his Twitter feed. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint.”

Jack Marshall was a child who, sadly, lost his battle against a brain tumour in October. Wilshere has frequently spoken of the time he spent with the infant.

England international Wilshere is currently recovering from a long term ankle injury but is expected to return in the New Year.
