EVEN IN THOSE rare moments when he’s not setting his house on fire or driving around Manchester dressed as Santa Claus handing out free money, that loveable rogue Mario Balotelli is in the headlines.
London rapper Tinchy Stryder has drawn on the Man City star’s colourful lifestyle as inspiration for a four-minute track on his latest EP, The Wish List, which was given away free to fans on Christmas Eve.
The song opens with samples of interviews with Balotelli and City manager Roberto Mancini, building up to a chorus of “Why always me, why always me… Mario Balotelli”, a reference to the iconic t-shirt worn by the Italian in City’s 6-1 demolition of Manchester United.
