West Ham's Diafra Sakho finished off a stunning team goal earlier

Ravel Morrison and Alex Song both played integral parts in a classy passing move against Ipswich.

WEST HAM TOOK advantage of the international window to play a friendly against an Ipswich XI at the Boleyn Ground today.

U21s boss Nick Haycock was in control of a West Ham side that included new signings Alex Song and Diafra Sakho, as well as a host of the club’s promising youngsters. A 5-1 victory for Sam Allardyce’s club suggested the future is bright.

20-year-old winger Matthias Fanimo scored four goals, but it was the team move finished off by Sakho that grabbed the attention. Some wonderful quick-fire passing from Ravel Morrison and Song allowed the former Metz striker to finish calmly.

The West Ham players were understandably delighted by their classy effort.
