The Dubs are back in action on Sunday - here are the 15 key fixtures this week

The Dublin footballers and Kilkenny hurlers start their championship campaigns this week.

EIGHT MONTHS AFTER last September’s All-Ireland heroics the Dubs are back in championship action in Croke Park on Sunday.

Dublin face Laois on Sunday in pursuit of Leinster championship number 53 this year. There’s also senior football action in Connacht, Munster and Ulster over the weekend.

There’ll be twelve different competitions between both football and hurling taking place this week -starting with Wednesday night’s Leinster and Munster U21 hurling championship quarter finals.

On Saturday Kildare and Kerry meet in the ninth ever Christy Ring Cup final, as Kerry go in search of their second title in what’s their third final appearance in the past five years.

On Saturday the Sky Sports crew will be in Nowlan Park as Kilkenny begin their 2014 championship season against Offaly. While there’s more hurling on Sunday afternoon as Cork and Waterford face off once again in the Munster championship quarter final replay.
