WATCH: The 'greatest moment' in Champions League history

Readers of UEFA.com have voted on the top 20 highlights of the competition since its inception in 1992.

WHAT’S THE MOST memorable moment in Champions League history?

According to readers of UEFA.com – many of whom may or may not be Liverpool fans – Jerzy Dudek’s famous double save in the 2005 final against Andriy Shevchenko (see video below) is the standout highlight to have taken place since the tournament’s inception in 1992.

Zinedine Zidane’s spectacular effort against Bayer Levekusen was the runner-up, while Ole Gunnar Solkskjaer’s last-minute winner in 1999 came third.

In addition, while Shelbourne’s heroic 2004 exploits against Deportivo were nowhere to be seen, one Irishman did make the list: Roy Keane’s header in the 1999 semi-final for United against Juventus finished in eight position.

The poll listed the top 20 moments of the past 19 years in the competition.
