VIDEO: The fire which broke out at the Barcelona Grand Prix yesterday

Black smoked poured into the sky soon after the race had finished in the Circuit de Catalunya.

WILLIAMS’ FIRST WIN in eight years was marred by a fire which started in the team’s garage at the Barcelona Grand Prix yesterday.

Venezualan driver Pastor Maldonado finished in pole position but around 90 minutes after the race, black smoke began billowing out of the garage while those inside were rushed to safety.

A dozen people were hospitalised as a result of the blaze, but luckily, no one was seriously harmed.
