Watch: Robbie scores a cracker but Galaxy still lose

Robbie Keane has scored his second goal for LA Galaxy since joining from Tottenham, but couldn’t prevent his side losing in the CONCACAF Champions League.

ROBBIE KEANE HAS scored his first Champions League goal for LA Galaxy, albeit in the CONCACAF version of the tournament.

Playing against Mexican side Morelia, the Dubliner opened the scoring by seizing on to a cross-field pass from Landon Donovan, beating a Morelia defender with sublime skill and knocking the ball past the advancing Vilar.

LA goalkeeper Josh Saunders managed to undo all of Keane’s good work, however, gifting Morelia two late goals in comical fashion.

A late equaliser by the Ireland captain was ruled out for offside and the Galaxy headed back to Hollywood having been beaten 2-1.
