THE NORMALLY COOL and calm Gary Lineker lost his composure during the broadcast of Match of the Day on Saturday evening, and showed his reliance on the much derided autocue.
The former England striker – who had clearly not, no way, under no circumstances been Tango’d before the show – was introducing highlights of Norwich’s win over West Brom.
Lineker started his lead into the highlights as normal before going completely silent and, eventually, stating that ‘this really isn’t something that should happen during a live broadcast.’
