WATCH: Blake clocks second-fastest 200m ever

“That’s amazing for me. I’m shocked he did so well.”

WELL, HE WASN’T expecting that.

Yohan Blake listened to Usain Bolt’s advice on how to run the 200 metres – and then gave him a lesson of his own last night.

The 21-year-old upstaged his fellow Jamaican and training partner at the final Diamond League meeting of the season Brussels by clocking a stunning 19.26 seconds.

It’s a time just behind the world record of 19.19sec held by Bolt, but overtaking Michael Johnson’s mark of 19.32.

A shocked Bolt gave Blake, who took his 100m title at the World Championships in Daegu last month, a congratulatory hug afterwards.

“That’s amazing for me. I’m shocked he did so well,” Bolt said on BBC2.

Bolt, for his part, was slow out of the blocks in the 100m, and had to strain to pull clear of compatriot Nesta Carter. His time of 9.76sec was 0.02sec quicker than the previous season’s best time.

Here’s Blake’s stunning performance.
