IT LOOKS INNOCUOUS, but this touchline collision left New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton with a fracture and serious ligament damage to his left leg.

Determined to lead by example, though, the coach refused to depart the stadium for the nearest emergency room, opting instead to remain in the locker room coordinating plays and broadcasting instructions to his coaching staff.
