VIDEO: An animated history of Irish football

Roy Keane, Thierry Henry and Eurovision heros of the past all make appearances in the James Richardson-narrated episode from the Guardian.

ON WEDNESDAY, THE Guardian began a series of pre-Euro 2012 videos by reliving England’s past international glories and (mostly) failings through the magic of animation.

Spain were next up and today it was the turn of Ireland. Cue mentions of Riverdance, Saipan and Jack Charlton’s tendency to forget people’s names.
