Unsurprisingly, it was claimed that the fan in question was on drugs at the time of the incident.
Steaua players Novak Martinovic and Razvan Stanca were subsequently sent off for attacking the fan following his actions, while the game was abandoned shortly thereafter, after a flare struck Steaua goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu.
