AT 82, former Australian Prime Minister Bob Hawke no longer needs to play to the masses in order to win votes — but he’s still doing it anyway.

The Labour politician delighted cricket fans at Wednesday’s second test between Australia and India in Sydney when he downed a pint of beer in one gulp.

Hawke was being escorted through the crowd when he was handed a plastic cup by a spectator who encouraged him to have “one for the country.”

Without blinking, he knocked back the beer, draining the cup in 10 seconds as fans roared him on.

I guess that’s just how they do things down under…

It was almost too easy against Arsenal until Ramseys goal and then suddenly we couldnt re-establish our focus……we were given numerous warnings by Giroud tho and still looked lethargic.
