THIS WON’T GO down well with most Ireland fans.
Rubbing salt into the wounds inflicted at Lansdowne Rd, Stephen Ferris has been cited – along with Wales lock Bradley Davies - for foul play during Sunday’s RBS 6 Nations game.
Tournament organisers have announced the citings, which were made by match commissioner, Italian Achille Reali.
Ferris was adjudged to have infringed in the final minute resulting in visiting full-back Leigh Halfpenny kicking the late, winning penalty.
Earlier, Davies was yellow-carded for a reckless tip-tackle on Ireland replacement Donnacha Ryan. Many thought the incident deserved a red card.

The pair will now appear before an independent Six Nations disciplinary committee in London tomorrow.
Declan Kidney’s side get back to training this morning as they prepare for Saturday night’s game in Paris. They will hope the Ulster man will be available for the trip.
