IN ONE OF the oddest rumours we’ve heard in quite some time, World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon has been linked with Premier League club Newcastle United.

The American billionaire, who is best-known as the head of wrestling’s premier brand, is believed to be interested in buying the Magpies from Mike Ashley with talks “tentative”, according to website WinnersSports.co.uk.
