VIDEO: Tipperary set sights on a long summer

With Limerick first up, Premier manager Declan Ryan says that the aim of the county is to once again achieve All-Ireland success.

TIPPERARY AIM TO put a disappointing league campaign behind them with a home opener against Limerick in Thurles this weekend.

The last time these two sides met in the Munster Championship back in 2007 Limerick ended on top in extra time of the third game winning by three points.

Since then the Munster rivals faced off in the 2009 All Ireland semi-final which saw the Premier County thrash the Shannonsiders 6-19 to 2-7 with a hat-trick from Lar Corbett who has recently re-entered the fray but is unavailable for the encounter.
