TWITTER HAS BEEN raving about it all afternoon so here’s the footage you’ve been waiting to see.
DCU met UCD in the Sigerson Cup quarter-final with the northsiders winning out by 2-10 to 0-6. The moment of the match came from Donegal star Michael Murphy, who flicked the ball over the head of Rory O’Carroll before pointing with the outside of his boot.

Rubbish score … He got lucky the ball came back to him as he was half blocked. Skill my hole!
Was a privilege to witness that score in the flesh, contender for score of the year!
the Sigerson and fitzgibbon are fantastic competitions, its a pity they dont get the coverage they deserve. This is where an awful lot of future inter county players make their names and the standard of play is as close to inter county as you can get
Have to disagree. The competitions used to be all but ignored by the media but the coverage is great these days. You can read reports online and watch videos of the games now shortly after games are finished (like this!), whereas back in the day you’d be lucky to get the results in the next day’s papers. They enjoy a far higher profile than any of the other third level sports out there.
Over reaction much?
Poxy especially after a rubbish dummie
Outrageous? Good point with a nice bit of skill but the only thing “outrageous” is the over reaction – Murphy is a great player but let’s keep this in perspective.
May be from a different era but if you want to watch something “outrageous” check out the true genius of Frank McGuigan in a game that really mattered – and if you cannot spare the full 5 minutes, skip to around 3 minutes in and sit back and enjoy !!

wonder score?. I don’t buy into this Donegal overhype of everything
