VIDEO: BOD and Sexton magic gives Leinster win in Italy

Both scores are a little special.

LAST NIGHT WE brought you the news of Leinster’s dramatic last-gasp win away to Treviso.

However, a quick report can’t do justice to the star turns provided by Brian O’Driscoll, who turned back the clock with a breathtaking line, and Jonathan Sexton, who secured the win with a 45 metre drop goal.

Not much happened in the first half (and Leinster Rugby say there was a problem with the first 40 minute stream) so get a load of the second half highlights.

The feed on TG4 website was just something awful. Slow, crashed many times and no sound. Why exactly would the feed be hosted on an Irish language website if it had no sound? Absolutely baffles the mind. Great drop goal by Sexton at the end though – distance looked daunting. Why did the match continue after the drop goal was scored though, since by the counter, the 80 minutes had elapsed? That could have become rather contraversial if Treviso had gotten another score. :P

Presumably play continued because that was yet another thing that TG4 got wrong. Absolutely shocking failure the online broadcast. I guess as a result it won’t be tried again for a while, which is a shame because it could be really good if done correctly.
