VIDEO: The Corrigan Brothers’ new song is dedicated to Katie Taylor

You know the Olympics aren’t far away when tunes about athletes are being released.

THE LADS WHO brought you ‘There’s no one as Irish as Barack Obama‘, have penned a number to honour Ireland’s biggest Olympic gold hopeful.

‘Come On Katie Taylor’ celebrates the Bray boxer, who picked up here fourth world title in China last month, and borrows the intro to Survivor’s ‘Eye of the Tiger’, which featured in Rocky III.

Katie is a wonderful boxing talent and we are very proud to have her flying the Olympic Flag for Ireland, her talent will light up the Olympics,” lead singer Ger Corrigan told Tipp Tatler Magazine.

I can hear it now being belted out in London’s ExCel arena when Taylor makes her entrance in August.
