  • John Mullane loves Waterford and Waterford loves John Mullane! To say Waterford are up sh*t creek now is an understatement!

  • John Mullane – one of the greatest hurlers never to win an all-Ireland. Involved in some of the best, most exciting matches in History and he was always at the epicentre of it all (both good and bad!) Wonderful servant to Waterford and will be difficult to replace. Thanks for the memories John….. True legend of the game

  • One thing about truly great hurlers is that they can play well when they’re team are playing badly. Mullane always popped over a few no matter how poorly the other forwards were performing

Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt John Mullane will be back after the League is over. I have a feeling there is a book on the way and the next few months “retirement” will be a chapter in it. Very similar to Lar Corbett last year.
