The Dublin manager was a disappointed man after his charges were on the receiving end of Clare’s first championship win for four years.

DUBLIN MANAGER ANTHONY DALY gave full credit to Clare after they overcame a six-point deficit to win 1-16 to 0-16 at Cusack Park on Saturday evening.

It was Clare’s first hurling championship victory in four years and came despite the sending off of defender Nicky O’Connell, and former Banner star Daly admitted that the home side “wanted it a little bit more.”
