ALL WE CAN say about the unfortunate end to Georgi Kirilov Georgiev’s European Track and Field Championships is: ‘aaagghhhh!’
The Bulgarian was straining every sinew in his heat, but once he tweaked a muscle, his legs began to wobble and sent him into a downward spiral.
Luckily, the injury wasn’t a compound break. But it looked horrible, he has reportedly suffered a dislocated knee along with his broken leg.
Ouch.
