That's a lot of zeroes! Diamond League organisers splash out to bring Bolt to Paris

Guess how much his appearance fee is?

THE WORLD’S FASTEST man is being paid $300,000 to race at the Stade de France.

Olympic champion Usain Bolt has announced he will race in the 200m at the Diamond League meeting in Paris in July.

The Jamaican, who holds the world record for the distance as well as the 100m, will come up against European 200m champion Christophe Lemaitre.

Bolt will use the race as preparation for the World Championships in Moscow a month later. He has announced only two other appearances for this year.

The 26-year-old has committed to the Bislett Games in Oslo in June and a 150m race on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro in March.

Last year, Bolt became the first man to defend both the 100m and 200m Olympic titles.
