'The Ugly Kardashian' is the most genius (and cruel) set-play in sport

It’s unstoppable.

We’re feeling pretty bad for the kids of Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Missouri this morning.

The poor little guys are lining up, the beginning of a journey they hope will bring them all the way to the NFL. And once they have finished listening to their coach telling them exactly what to do, the one thing he hadn’t planned for happened – the Lewis and Clarke School QB took a disguised snap and strolled past his offensive line as if to show the referee the ball.

The school’s head coach Shawn Griggs was chuffed with himself for naming the play ‘The Ugly Kardashian’ which made all his Middle Schoolers (say, 10-12 year-olds) laugh uncontrollably.

“I wanted something catchy and funny,” Griggs told MaxPreps.com, “and always loved the name of the trick play from Little Giants.

“When I said it the first time in the huddle they wouldn’t stop laughing. I threatened to change the name of it because they would laugh every time I said it.”

But he didn’t change the name, ‘The Ugly Kardashian’ stayed and Thomas Jefferson school kids are tackling anything that moves from now on.

“Football is supposed to be fun. So the name stayed.”
