Twitter erupts as Didi Hamann brands Yaya Toure ‘a liability’

Will this be remembered as the ex-Liverpool star’s pen-throwing moment?

YAYA TOURE SCORED a fantastic goal as Manchester City beat Swansea 3-2 yesterday.

However, there was at least one person who was not entirely impressed by the acclaimed midfielder’s performance.

Match of the Day pundit and ex-Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann argued that Toure was “a liability” in a defensive sense, suggesting that his lack of tracking back can at times prove harmful to City.

Consequently, Hamann was the talk of Twitter, with varying reactions to his controversial views.
