FERNANDO TORRES FAILED to see the funny side as he took to the pitch wearing a rather fetching protective mask tonight.

Chelsea team-mates Yossi Benayoun and Ryan Bertrand had a bit of a chuckle before tonight’s Europa League quarter-final against Rubin Kazan in Stamford Bridge.

But Torres had plenty to smile about later in the evening as he found himself on the scoresheet twice in Chelsea’s 3-1 win.
