Cork are probably the most improved team in the country – Regan

The defender believes his side will have to be at their very best to emerge victorious in Sunday’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final.

GALWAY GO INTO Sunday’s game with Cork having had the luxury of a direct route into the All-Ireland SHC semi-final, after beating Kilkenny in the Leinster SHC Final.

Yet despite that notable result, they know it will count for little if they fail to match the performance tomorrow.

Tony Óg Regan, however, certainly seems to be one player who isn’t taking anything for granted, describing Cork as “probably the most improved team in the country,” while manager Anthony Cunningham acknowledges that their opponents are going to be “hard taskmasters”.
