ULSTER PROP TOM Court may have played his last game for his province after receiving a two-week suspension for the red card received in last Friday’s Pro12 defeat to Leinster.
Court was given a straight red card by referee Luke Pearce in the 17th minute of the inter-pro and faced today’s disciplinary committee for his use of a ‘lifting tackle’ on Devin Toner.
Court is suspended until midnight of Sunday May 18, two weeks and two days on from the tackle.
That ban will see Court miss out on the trip to face Munster this weekend as well as Ulster’s Pro12 semi-final on the weekend of May 16.
He could return to wear the red hand one last time if his team-mates can claim a victory away from home and progress into the Grand Final. That will be Court’s only hope of playing a 155th and final time for the northern province as he has agreed a deal to play with London Irish from next season.
