Tipp minors stay on course for 3-in-a-row after Munster semi-final win over Cork

And the champions will face Kerry after their win over Waterford in Killarney tonight.

Tipperary 0-11 Cork 0-8

TIPPERARY’S MINOR FOOTBALLERS booked their place in the Munster decider thanks to a 0-11 to 0-8 win over Cork at Semple Stadium tonight.

The Premier — champions for the past two years — steamed into a 0-5 to one point lead at the break and made no mistake in closing it out after the interval.

A wasteful Tipp side will have plenty to work on however before the 7 July final, as they failed to convert possession into scores.

Kerry 1-15 Waterford 2-6

TIPP WILL NOW face Kerry in the provincial decider after their six-point win over Waterford in Killarney.

The Déise will head east knowing they gave the Kingdom a fright however though their stirring fightback fell short.

David Foran scored the Kerry goal which helped the hosts lead 1-9 to four points at the break. Tom Devine netted for Waterford but Tomás Cooney was sent off for two yellows. When Conor Gleeson converted a late penalty it did little but improve the scoreline.
