Tipp minors seal stunning All-Ireland football victory

Dessie Farrell’s Dublin were denied after a cracking curtain-raiser at Croke Park this afternoon.

TIPPERARY HAVE CLAIMED an historic All-Ireland MFC title win at Croke Park today.

The Premier County staged an impressive second-half fightback to claim their first minor championship in 77 years on a scoreline of 3-09 to 1-14.

Colman Kennedy won it for Tipp with a superb winning goal in the dying minutes after he was introduced as a substitute.

Earlier, Liam McGrath’s goal was cancelled when Gavin Ivory rasied the green flag himself. Michael Quinlivan then hit a Tipp penalty but the Dubs led by 1-10 to 2-02 at the break.

Then the Premier turned it around.
