Tipp make 5 changes, O'Driscoll in for Cork U21s

The Premier County play Dublin on Sunday while Cork have named their team to face Cavan the day before.

THERE ARE FIVE changes to the Tipperary team to play Dublin in the Allianz Hurling league semi-final at Semple Stadium on Sunday.

From the side which defeated Clare in the last group game, Brendan Cummins, Donagh Maher, Patrick Maher, Pa Bourke and Jason Forde all come in to replace Darren Gleeson, Paul Curran, Conor O’Brien, John O’Dwyer and Eoin Kelly.

Meanwhile, Cork have made one change for Saturday’s Cadbury’s All-Ireland U21FC semi-final against Cavan in Tullamore.

Brian O’Driscoll comes into the side at wing-back as he replaces TJ Brosnan. O’Driscoll came on as a substitute in the Munster final win over Tipperary and had previously started the earlier victories over Kerry and Limerick.

Eight members of the team – Damien Cahalane, Alan Cronin, Tom Clancy, Jamie Wall, Mark Sugrue, John O’Rourke, Brian Hurley and Luke Connolly – all started in last year’s All-Ireland U21 semi-final loss to Dublin, while O’Driscoll, Cadogan and McEoin all came on as substitutes in that clash in O’Moore Park in Portlaoise.
