Dear Santa...

This Nike MAG ad starring Kevin Durant is a masterpiece

WATCH: The NBA star teams up with Christopher Lloyd to launch an auction for the coolest shoes ever.

YOU KNOW THOSE cool shoes you’re wearing right now? They’re nothing compared to the 2011 Nike MAGs.

Back in 1989, Back to the Future II came out and pretty much everyone wanted a pair of the futuristic self-lacing hightops which Marty McFly was wearing in 2015.

And now you can have them. Well, almost (you’ll still have to do up the velcro).

Nike have jumped the gun by a few years, creating 1500 pairs of the runners which they’re auctioning off over the next ten days.

The first batch of 150 are on sale at the moment, with prices hovering around the $4,000-5,000 mark. With more than 12 hours left in the first auction though, those prices are only going to rise (because that’s how auctions work).

It’s all for a worthy cause, with proceeds from the sale of the shoes going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. What’s more, Google co-founder Sergey Brin and his wife Anne Wojciki will match every dollar raised as part of their ongoing partnership with the charity.

Even if you don’t have a couple of grand to blow on a pair of shoes that you’ll only wear once (if ever), you’ll probably enjoy the ad which has been created to launch the auction.

Ever think you’d see Christopher “Doc Brown” Lloyd and Kevin “NBA Superstar” Durant acting on the same screen?

Nah, me neither.
