Is Ireland's favourite Frenchman planning another return to Arsenal?

Thierry Henry confirms his exit from New York Red Bulls and will ‘reflect and decide on the next chapter’.

THIERRY HENRY HAS revealed that he has played his last game for Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls after four and half years.

But, perhaps rather pointedly, he stopped short of announcing his retirement.

The 37 year-old took to Facebook to express his thanks to those that helped him make his time in the city so memorable.

There was no dream finale for the striker as the Red Bulls lost out to the New England Revolution in the Eastern Conference play-off, just falling short of making it to the 2014 MLS Cup but Henry’s time in NYC has been a major success.

Though the league’s biggest prize eluded him since signing in 2010, Henry did rack up two Eastern Conference winners-medals in 2010 and 2013 while the team won the Supporters’ Shield last year (awarded to the side with the highest number of regular season points).

Many have wondered what Henry will do next and whether he will continue playing. There have been whispers of a possible return to Arsenal, with the club legend reportedly interested in a coaching position at the Emirates.

But, an intriguing proposition from the A-League or India’s Super League (where his former Arsenal team-mates Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg are currently based) could mean Henry keeps playing for a little while longer.

I don’t know one football fan who dislikes Henry because of that handball. How could you dislike such a footballing genius and graceful athlete. He was a little arrogant but will go down as the greatest player to have ever graced the PL.

Doesn’t mean he can’t go back to arsenal as a coach.
