The Morning Score: Thursday

Here’s everything you need to know before that first cup of coffee.

1. #EGYPT There will be three days of mourning in Egypt after at least 74 people died at a football match last night.

Fans invaded the pitch after a match between two of the country’s biggest football clubs – Al-Masry and Al-Ahly – at Port Said.

BBC News reports that emergency meetings of the cabinet and newly-formed parliament have been called with protest marches planned for today against the police’s inability to control the violence.

2. #SIX NATIONS Declan Kidney yesterday named his side to face Wales at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday. And Keith Earls will start at 13.

Jonny Sexton comes in to replace Ronan O’Gara at out-half, while Earls’ switch to the centre sees Tommy Bowe and Andrew Trimble named on the wings.

In the second row, Donncha O’Callaghan is preferred to provincial team-mate Donnacha Ryan, who has kept him out of the Munster set-up in recent weeks.

Another Munster man, the uncapped back-row Peter O’Mahony, is named among the replacements for the first time.

Check out the full team here.

The Tottenham Hotspur boss held his hands up and looked around at Detective Inspector Dave Manley, saying: “Mr Manley, will you please stop staring at me. I know you are trying to cause me a problem, OK.”

Redknapp apologised to Judge Anthony Leonard for the interruption before his questioning resumed.
